According to BBC weather, Stowmarket may see it's first drops of snow tonight. However, the rain may only turn to wet snow so it may not settle, sorry kids! It is getting extremely cold, but the remainder of the week looks set to be relatively dry except on Friday. This weekend is predicted to be cloudy on Saturday with bright spells on Sunday.

Last year the snow arrived by late November, remember that? Check the following galleries posted by members from last year!

As with every British winter, public transport will no doubt struggle to handle the

weather, and delays will commence. Make sure you check the travel

situation before you travel this month. This is easy to do on the internet. If you

use the train or plan on avoiding the roads, check National Rail

for those service disruptions. If you will brave the drive, keep an eye

on the radio and make sure you are equipped for delays and potential

breakdowns. For more information and professional advice visit Highways.gov.

Thankfully no schools have had to close due to snow, sorry again kids! What have you got planned for the Christmas holidays and what are your favourite things to do when the snow falls? If you have some festive piccies or news you would like to share, get on stowmarketpeople!
