uld rather look online or did not find what you were looking for down the jobcentre, then there are plenty of sites to browse using the internet. While there are many national job sites including Total Jobs and Reed, there are local sites that may advertise smaller, local company vacancies that won't appear on the larger ones. Here are a couple of examples.
East Anglian Daily Times (EADT) Visit their website and you will find the jobs24 tab on the left hand side. Click on that and browse jobs local to your area.
IP1 - A hidden gem. For those creatives out there it is worth having a look at this Ipswich magazine. Their website is for the community and encourages you to sign up and have your on profile/share your talent. They also advertise local creative jobs, so make sure yout take a peek once and a while.

I am finding it extremely hard to find a job at this time of year. I have been looking since well before christmas and applied to many jobs (many of which I am not even enthusiastic about but I am beginning to panic). There really is not much out there. This is also the time where a lot of temp staff get released after the christmas period.
