Are there any venues in Stowmarket to see live music except the Pickerel? I have heard the Pickerel do mostly cover bands?

There's a few venues around, mostly pubs having bands on the weekends, the riverside has a stage, P.A and dancefloor but everytime i go there I have a bad experience, so i'm on a riverside boycott at the moment. The pickeral is quite good actually, small but good, actually if anyone knows a better place let me know as i'm in a band myself.
