    Would prefer Wetherspoons to another supermarket ! Get all I need from Asda. Would be good if Stowmarketpeople could clear up what is going on.

    Hello all,

    Wetherspoons definately looks set to arrive in Stowmarket as construction can be seen on the building site of the new pub, with documents attached to the walls surrounding the site. Check out the picture gallery for some visual evidence. http://tinyurl.com/4dhbfn9

    I do believe a supermarket is on the way too! Whether we need this as well as an Asda is a good question, however it will be provide job opportunties for local people.

    Well Morrisons opened in October creating 150 permanent and 50 temp jobs and now it looks like Weatherspoons will be open by Christmas!
