there is some wonderful leisure facilities under construction for youngsters on the 'rec', how about a few more seats around the place for older people to sit on PLEASE?

needs a fence arround it, found dog pooh under the climbing frame the other day, and the ramp seems to be attracting the bikers

Thats a good point and I have spoken to the Public Services Manager (Daniel Harvey) who is wonderful at answering such queries.

He totally agree's with the need for more seating at the Recreation Ground, and this is the next stage after completing the play facilities. Extra seating is to be provided including benches and picnic tables, using what funding is available. The Chamber of Commerce are also donating a picnic bench. This will be a great start towards providing sufficient seating facilities on the grounds.

Thats a great idea page12. Could do with a few more benches, picnic tables on the rec would be really nice too.
