The Museum of East Anglian Life put on a wonderful bonfire night event on the 5th November 2011. From a gigantic bonfire to the biggest fireworks I have ever seen, the event was packed with people.

If you were there you might like to have a look at gallery one and gallery two because your face might just appear in there! If you didn't make the event have a look at what you could enjoy next year.
Despite the muddy walk up through the grounds, we were greeted by a beautiful ferris wheel and fair ground dazzling in the dark night. There was a huge markee selling burgers and drinks, and how could we miss the gigantic bonfire. The atmosphere was buzzng because it was packed, a lot more people than I anticipated.
The ques for the food were very long indeed, but the nature of the event meant that standing around was acceptable! I was quite suprised to find that there was no gluhwein on offer though! The only sensible option after that was to head to the candy floss stall!
The bonfire was lit at 7pm and the fireworks started at 7.30pm. By the time the fireworks were over, it was clear that investment was made in those rockets because the display ws absolutely stunning. Honestly, the best fireworks I think I have ever seen.
Where did you spend bonfire night? Share your piccies and let us know of other great firework displays that happened in the area.
