Pickerel Apartments in Stowmarket 2011
Having originally been sniffed at by friends against modernisation of Stowmarket, I was kind of in agreement because I love all things old fashioned. However... I have to say that these new apartments look rather nice considering their modern design. Compared to Ipswich buildings down on the Marina, their definately not as contemporary, and seem to blend in ok.
I especially like the gardens behind them, which sit against the the River Gipping. There is now a public footpath which everyone can enjoy. All in all it looks nice and rather cosmopolitan! I had to take some photos so check out this picture gallery.
What do you think of these new apartments in Stowmarket? I would love to know how they look inside. If the landscaped garden is anything to go by...

They do look good but doesn't every town have some sort of development like this. Would have been good if Stowmarket had gone for something a bit different.... maybe.
