The Museum of East Anglian Life Watercolour Course

The museum for East Anglian life is based in Stowmarket and the first of their 2012 leisure courses will be a watercolour art course Jim Kemp.

Jim Kemp, the tutor of the course, is a qualified art instructor with over 40 year experience painting in water colours. He has been teaching various styles for the past seven years and specialises in water colour landscapes.

If you are a beginner or intermediate artist then this course could be for you. The course will be held every Saturday from 10:30am-1pm over 8 weeks beginning 4th February 2012.

Over the 8 weeks you will be introduced to water colour painting and shown what equipment is used,. You will be shown how to plan a picture and then proceed to create your own water colour paintings. Jim will guide you through various techniques as you learn to paint seascapes, skies, mountains, rivers, lakes, woodlands, fields and lots more.

The price of the course is £115 and you will also need to supply your own equipment such as pencils, sketch pads and brushes. For full details on the course and the complete list of equipment required please check the course here.
