The exhibition too place over the weekend as the John Peel Centre opened up it's doors to the public. On walking in to the building for the first time, you are immediately taken back at the grandeur of the beautiful building. While not huge in size, there may well be plans to take on other nearby buildings...
Looking at the designs on display, it was amazing to see what the students had been asked to design, including a mezzanine floor inside the building to provide a workshop area, café/bar and to create a practice and performance space in the building.
I was very impressed at the exhibition and have great aspirations for this venue. Well done to everyone involved with this. Stowmarket is very lucky indeed.
