The beautiful Christmas Craft Fayre took place at the Museum of East Anglian Life on Friday 25th November 2011, and my oh my was it busy!

This probably had a lot to do with Santa Claus who was in residence at the grotto! The location of the museum was perfect as it is located in the centre of town, within easy walking distance of the other festive fun that was taking place on the Highstreet that evening, including the switching on of the Christmas lights.

The event started at 12pm that day, and was still buzzing at 7pm when the fayre came to a close. Have a look for yourself at the Christmas Fayre gallery which is now up on stowmarketlocalpeople. You might see your face in there..

From mulled wine to hand made cushions, it certainly made the museum barn come alive with the festive happiness. The barn made the perfect setting for the event which was lined with various types of stalls, including cakes and other unique home made things. It is so nice to see these sort of local businesses and it makes for beautiful Christmas present ideas. There were also beautiful Christmas tree's for sale.

On stepping outside I was greeted by what looked like the entire population of local children waiting to see Santa! I didn't get to see the man myself, but I do believe he was the real deal...
